Snotty cocktail parties, pretty dresses and slick suits, and that god-awful amuse bouche. Ah, the boys of the Yuchengco-Delgado clan. The third Yuchengco-Delgado boy, Juan Miguel, seemed somewhat distant into his own world, miles far from his family’s tradition and culture. As a ten-year-old, Miguel could not walk past the front door without a maid tagging along behind him. By then, he thought, “Better to run off, they’re always so easy to get rid of.” which does not age well as we glide onto his teenage years.He’d enjoy his sweet, sweet time at his local school’s garden— “batibot”, they called it.
